Structural Design Manual

This update incorporates the 2022 recommendation from the Advisory Committee on Structural Safety of Department of Veterans Affairs Facilities to adopt ASCE/SEI 7-22 prior to its adoption in IBC. Additionally, the update clarifies that the Facility Criticality Designations defined in H-18-8 shall be used to determine the respective Risk Category for all structural design loads.
