This guide provides the basic standard guidelines for organizing, evaluating, planning, programming, designing, and constructing base legal facilities on Air Force installations. It covers the general requirements for courtrooms, Staff Judge Advocate (SJA) offices, and Area Defense Counsel (ADC) offices. These facilities must have a professional environment suitable for the provision of base legal services to Air Force personnel and their families. The commitment of the base legal staff is to the Air Force and to the clients they serve.
